i suddenly had the urge to blog this afternoon.
feeelin pretty hyped up for this christmas....
but i know tht im hyped up for nthin actually.
just thinkin back at the past Xmases i had back home in singapore ...
sent me smiling away.

family and friends.

last 2 years xmases were a blast !! really.
i like how my mum would call over friends and relatives to celebrate tgt.
we would have games !
pass the parcel !
play celebrity hats !
do the lucky draw !
play mind games !!
exchange gifts !!
whoooots !
and this year ? what difference will there be ?
1.) cold rainy christmas
2.) quiet lonely christmas
3.) no present christmas
sobs. oh dear. i really miss my bunch of cousins...
and i wonder...
if 2 years later... when i go back home ... would things be the same ?
would we still meet up every weekend ?
would we still be oh so ever enthu about christmas and new year ?
or will we just go our separate ways doing our own things in life...
sad thought !

anyway .
yesterday , king's second big boss invited us to his place for a christmas gathering ~
and boy was the place pack.
everyone were literally standing in one position.
hahahahha

house wives, children ... MASTERS , BOSSES , CAPTAINS. TRAINIES. PILOTS . whooots !

they all had the FRESH NS MEN look.

well yeah . they all looked pretty decent and fun to be with.

the house was beautiful . double story. cosy house. lovvit ;]
and the food was great as well .
spent most of my time baby sittin the kids upstairs.
along with vanessa. lol

well anyway .. the fun part of the whole event is the gift exchange !
they twisted the game a lil.
we were all given a number each...
and when our number was being called one by one . we would go to the middle to pick our gifts .
we had the choice to choose.
weather we wanted to pick and open a new gift , or snatch an item you like tht someone has already opened.
each item only can be snatched like 2wice.
hahahahaah i was 18 out of 28.
so i kinda had the chance to view all the open presents.
i set my eyes on a cute thumbdrive ... 4 gb. and this scarf.
but when it was my turn ... i knew tht i wanted to snatch.
but greedy me wanted to test my luck if i would get somethin better if i went to open the gift.
and i went to open the gift.
and guess what i got ?!?!
some teapot set.
GAHHH !!! wad a waste!!
totally sian-ed by half. haha
busted my chance ! tsk tskk
and all the way i was eyeing tht scarf.
tht got snatched like a few times....
then the ganme was over .. and i was like.. MUMMY AHH !! WHYY DIDNT I GO SNATCH !?! RAWRR~
the person tht ended up with the scarf was this 20+ yr old guy ...
he knew i was eyeing his scarf ... and he kinda looked away pretending not to look in my direction.
i could tell tht he wanted it. if not why would he snatch it awayfrom a GIRL summore.
then pulled for llike an hour of whining to my mum . i finally plucked up the courage to go up to him and ask .
HELLLOO!! do you mind exchangin your scarf with my tea pot set ?
and he replied : haha , what would i want a tea pot set for ? i knw you eyed my scarf for a long time le hor... sorry ahh .. its for my wife =x
then i was like ahh damm .. no chance le.
HE HAS A WIFE.
i mean if he doesnt have a wife. and he wants tht scarf. i would have gotten it ...
if he didnt have a wife... he would have thought '' why am i fighting with a small girl for a scarf ? so paisehh . i cant dont give herr.... oh man ''

so he uses his wife to secure the scarf.

so i was like half sian the whole wayy
then b4 we all had to go .. he came up to me and said '' okayyy lahh ... b4 i change my mind ... come i exchange with you ''
and i was like '' HUH ?! dont you wanna give it to your wife ''
he said ... ''christmas is all about giving mahh ... and you like really wanted the scarf. lol my wife scold me nvm one laah. tea pot also okay . haha''
and i got it !!

its good to be young !
i felt so bad ..... ahahahahah so i think im gonna write him a card and bake some muffins =x

then i wont feel so bad ady.
